These are but a few of the techniques used by metalsmiths to make works of art.
The creative vision of these artisans is amazing. Who else can look at a piece of metal (i.e., iron, gold, silver, bronze, copper,...) and not only conceptualize but actually handcraft stunning jewelry, incredible sculptures, and functional items/furnishings for the home.

All the metal art is available for purchase through a secure site. In addition, if you like the style of a particular blacksmith/metalsmith we offer the option of having your own commissioned piece made.

Featured Artist
I am honored to present present Holly Fisher as Vulcan Artistic Creations' Featured Artist. When I first met Holly, I was blown away by her dynamic personality and wonderful sense of humor. Over time, I learned about her passion for horses, and how through her giftedness as a metalsmith, she can pour some of that passion into creating incredible sculptures of horses.
Holly is the Project Coordinator at the National Ornamental Metal Museum in Memphis, Tennessee. She received her Bachelor of Fine Art in Sculpture from Truman State University, and her Master of Fine Art in Sculpture from the University of Montana. She has exhibited her metal art locally and nationally. In describing her metal art, Holly states, " I study traditional blacksmithing techniques and employ them to create contemporary objects. I pick my forms from the things I love: horses, coal mines, gardening, and the natural world...I am consistently inspired by the natural world and strive to create lasting tributes in hand forged steel..."We are excited to be featuring Holly's wonderful one-of-a-kind horse sculptures (Sculpture section: Animal Sculptures). Her passion for these magnificent animals is quite apparent as you look at the detailed work she puts into her beautiful creations.
